So now that the weather is almost springlike (and I mean that in the loosest sense) the garage sale season is officially underway.
And when I loosely say spring, I mean this is what it looked like outside approximately 10 minutes ago.
I know, right? People in Alaska are laughing at me right now. Their tulips are probably already in bloom.
Anyway, last Saturday me and my S-I-L and our friend Elizabeth went off in search of treasures. Well we are seriously out of practice. We had 2 VZ navigators and one Blackberry and we still managed to get lost. Twice. Next time we are not fooling around. The GPS will be aboard.
So here is what I found:
Straw/leather purse $1. Cute, huh?
Iron planter thing $2
Our last stop was the FIRC. Tin tile planter thing $1 (half off) I will spray paint maybe?
I also found these Wedgwood "Country Side" transferware tea sets for 98 cents each. I googled and found these on EBay for $20 a set.
Whew! Well that was not too bad was it? Just imagine what my pictures would have looked like if my addiction was crack instead of thrifting.
Now if the sun would come out so I could go outside. My trainers have abandoned me, but I am still trying to hit the pavement solo.
Hope you have a warm weekend.
