I saw his picture in the local paper and it broke my heart and started to cry. If I could afford him I'd take him but I can barely afford to feed my old cat that I got from this shelter. They are wonderful people there.
He would be great therapy for me with my walking disability called claudication.
Plus my cat is terrified of dogs.
Hercules is a 9-year-old neutered male shepherd mix whose owner was forced to give him up for financial reasons (foreclosure). This wonderful boy is a stocky gentle giant who is obedient and gentle. Hercules is super-housebroken, knows his basic commands, walks nicely on a leash and is calm and well-mannered. He'd love to spend his holidays in a nice warm home rather than on a shelter floor.
