Getting Back to my Roots

Ever since I started getting gray hair-- I hit the bottle. That is to say I went to WalMart or Target or City Market and bought whatever cheap-ola hair dye crap they had. French Roast one month, Brazilian Brown the next. My mom is always telling me that as you get older, you want to go lighter or else you look more wrinkled.

Anyway, you may remember that my cute niece Mia is in beauty school. Well this weekend she was in town and she cut and colored my hair (one benefit to being too lazy to get your hair did is that it gets really long and as it stands it is halfway down my back. Never mind what my mom says about middle aged ladies with long hair).

Mia gave me the lecture on buying product at the grocery store and told me that my hair is about 50 different colors from top to bottom.  So she took me back close to what is probably my natural color (that is my original natural color minus the gray).

I kind of love it this dark.  Sorry mom.

PS: Red lipstick is forever in style in my book : )
