Taylor Momsen was born on 26th July 1993 is an American actress, musician and model who portrays the character of Jenny Humphrey on the CW television series Gossip Girl and portrayed the role of Cindy Lou Who in How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and fronts the rock band The Pretty Reckless.
Her parents are Michael and Collette Momsen and she has a younger sister, Sloane Momsen, who is also an actress. She attended Our Lady of Lourdes School and was raised Roman Catholic. She began acting professionally at three years of age with a national commercial for Shake 'N' Bake. She was then cast in The Prophet's Game.

Momsen commented about the recording: "I'm like, okay, dude, you're singing an 8-year-old's words, but that's cool. It's so funny because I didn't shop it or anything and I get this call going, 'Did you write a song for Heidi Montag'?The track was later included on Montag's debut studio album Superficial.On July 27, 2011, Taylor Momsen announced via Twitter that the band will be touring with Evanescence as the supporting act during the fall of 2011.

Usually the most impressive lip dub videos on the web feature fancy production values and epically choreographed camera work. But since the U.S. Marines stationed in Afghanistan don't have a ton to work with and they're a wee bit busy trying not to get blown up, their new clip set to Britney Spears' "Hold It Against Me" is mostly built on heart. And Spears, for one, is totally feeling it. "I am in LOVE with this," Britney tweeted last night with a YouTube link. "I always knew our soldiers were fierce! Thanks for everything you guys do."
While the soldiers' willingness to boogie in fatigues to the song's dubstep breakdown indicates true Spears fandom, their inability to spell her name correctly ("Music by Brittney Spears") suggests their copy of Femme Fatale may have been baking in the desert sun a little too long. Big ups to the guy at the 1:00 mark who starts to strip off his jumpsuit and threatens to krump, the hip-swishing duo at 1:15 who keep the energy up between verses, and all the awesome lady Marines who bring a little extra commitment to their parts. Britney Spears siempre se ha destacado por ser una excelente bailarina, tanto en sus videos como en sus presentaciones en vivo, pero ultimamente ya no realiza las grandes coreografias que solia hacer; hace poco se ha desatado toda una controversia en las redes sociales al especularse de que habría utilizado un travesti para que la reemplace en algunas tomas de su nuevo video Till the worlds ends.
“Definitivamente no es ella”, “Es un hecho que no es ella”, son algunos de los mensaje que circulan en la red al difundirse las imágenes de unas tomas del video donde aparece una Britney un tanto cambiada, más corpulenta y ahombrada.
Algunos aseguran que la cantante habría utilizado una doble debido a unos problemas en su rodilla que le provocaban una serie de molestias.
Otros, en cambio, sostienen que la artista ya no es la misma de hace unos años y que los problemas con las drogas y el alcohol le han quitado sus habilidades de baile.
Debido tambien a sus ultimas interpretaciones de "Till The World Ends"y "Hold It Against Me"en vivo en Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Tiene que ser algun problema de rodilla o alguna otra cosa temporal, porque si ella hubiera perdido sus habilidades de baila no hubiera realizado los excelente videos como ser; "Womanizer", "3", "Circus", que como sabemos fueron realizados despues de sus problemas emocionales, o bien ya no usa a los mismo coreografos de antes.

La canción se titula Whiplash “latigazo cervical”, y se espera que sea eprimer single del tercer álbum de Selena con su banda The Scene.
Sin embargo, se especula que el álbum no saldrá a la venta hasta a finales de este año, por lo que tendremos que esperar para estar cien por ciento seguros acerca de si la canción estará en el cd y si fue o no fue escrita realmente por Britney.
