FOTD from a few days ago part 2

I found a pic on my camera that didn't come out pink! When I wear a lot of red it freaks my camera out and turns everything pink. Here I was wearing a red top, headband. and lips.  It did come out blurry but you can still see how awesome UD Primer Potion is Greed is; which is why i'm posting a part 2 and probably throwing you all off but hey, I'm Sonia and I am random. Please to meet me.

FOTD from a few days ago

Hi everyone! My cam had been giving me issues (freaks out when I wear a lot of red) so I had to use my cell. CHANEL Prelude was the star of the night that day. I used the light taupe over Urban Decay Greed primer for an antique gold look. Loved the effect! Subtle but hot. Yes. I said my eyes looked hot. I ain't gonna lie.

Gaga Part 1!

Hey girlies!  Today at work, it was ‘Gaga’ Day, and we had to dress up like the goddess herself!  I thought I would pop up some pictures of how I wore my make-up for my shift!

My look based based on and inspired by her opening look in the prison sequence in her music video for Telephone

It took me very long time to do, I’m not quite sure why, it was just getting the shape of her eye shadow in the crease of my eye which was difficult, but I think I got there finally!


If anyone wants to know how I did this I -

• Primed my eyelids, then used a white eyeshadow all over my lids, up to the brow bone.
• I then used a combination of brown eyeshadows and blended it into the crease of my eye, following the natural curve of my eyebrow.  I also blended it down to the inside corner of my eye and a tad down my nose bone to give extra definition.
• I then lined my top and bottom lashes with a liquid liner, and extended the flick out
• I applied the biggest eyelashes I could find!
• Oh, and then I filled my brows in big time! First with a brown pencil liner, then with a black pencil to give more of an arch.

On to the lips -

• I lined my lips in black kohl eye liner
• Then applied a red lipstick
• And then blended them both together with a lipstick brush! Easy Peasy!

This is me at work -

My mummy helped do my hair – She made two small plaits either side of my head, and pinned them together at the top of my head with a pink bow – just to add some crazyhairness.
What does everyone think of my attempt?  I did feel a tad self conscious out and about at first, but I got used to it.  The eyelashes were so heavy though, I ended up taking them off three hours into my shift! I have to dress up again as Gaga on Saturday and I’m going to do a completley different Gaga look for then, which of course I’ll take pictures off!! XX

In this photo I was testing out my new Babylis Pro 230 Radiance Straighteners, one side is obviously straightened and the other isn’t.  I normally straighten my hair once a month as I’m scared about damaging it, and kinda prefer my hair wavy.  I do adore the straighteners though, they heat up to 230 VERY quickly and make my hair super straight.

Hi everyone! Sorry there are so many pics, but this is one of my fav looks ever. This was much more sparkly in person of course, but I did the best I could to capture it!

I love this palette so so sooo much. I got it over a week ago and i've been using it a lot, especially the lightest shade. For an e/s hoarder that is a *good* thing, means the product really is damn good.:)

 My grocery store had a little section with two "Throwback" retro style soda packaging; Pepsi and Mountain Dew which are made with real sugar. I normally don't drink soda unless it's natural and Virgil's, but I couldn't resist! This is delicious and isn't disgustingly sweet like soda with HFCS. This is random, but that's Sonia for ya!

Thought Id do a FOTD in the honor of this beautiful woman. I tried to dupe her, but obviously I look different since I have darker features.:P Her signature eye was thick top liner, thin lower liner, and bold brows, and of course, red lips. So that's just what I did!
