We See Pretty Underpants...

images via Givenchy & Style.com

If the Givenchy Couture Fall 2011 fashion show is any indication of what the future of fashion holds (fyi it IS), then it's good news for those of us who love the lingerie as outerwear look!  We thought the whole high-waisted panty layered until a sheer skirt/dress was possibly on its way out, but not so fast!  It looks like we have another season of this lingerie-friendly look, which typically features a high-waist panty (we suppose it would look disastrous with a thong!).  It's been a few years since we first spotted this style on the runway, and it warms our hearts to see it once more.  It's also good because we will be buying for Faire Frou Frou Spring 2012 in just a couple of weeks, and it gives us an idea of what you lovely ladies (& gents) will be wanting!

With bridal season upon us, we thought it fitting to do a post on 'bridal lingerie'. Of course, beautiful white lingerie is not just limited to brides! Most of our non-bridal customers are those who are buying pieces like what you see in this post! And we completely understand that - who could resist such pretty pieces?
Now that we think about it, we will likely do another post next week featuring bridal blue lingerie...as well as affordable suggestions for bridal shower/bachelorette party gifts.

Special Giveaway for Faire Frou Frou Customers

We are pleased to announce a giveaway we're doing at Faire Frou Frou - it's a free portrait session with Los Angeles-based studio Transition Photography. For every customer that spends $300 or more in one shot at our Studio City boutique, you are given a gift certificate valued between $75-$125 for a photo shoot. It's that easy!
We have a limited number of gift certificates to give out, so the sooner you come by the better! We think this will especially benefit our bridal customers as well as those looking to do a boudoir shoot. The company also does a wide variety of work, including family portraits, headshots, and so forth.
You can learn more about Transition Photography by visiting their website.
