I love nailvarnish! You will never catch me without it on, so I will be posting weekly my favourite, with swatches and a small review on each.
Today I'm reviewing two of my favourite pink nailvarnishes, one Barry M and one Stargazer! Both are so cheap but so beautiful and well worth it!
Stargazer, available in New Look and other small chemists £2.50
This is probably my favourite nailvarnish ever! The formula is really different to any other NVs I have tried. It glides on in the smallest layer ever (if that makes sense? Its quite a thin formula) yet it holds so much pigment. Because of the thiness of it, it dries in a matter of seconds. I've also worn this under UV light and because its a neon pink, it glows! It chips in a few days, but because it dries so quickly you can always just put another layer on. I definitley recommend stargazers make-up in general if you're after bright neon colours!
Barry M £2.95 - 279 Bright Pink
This colour as you can see is a gorgeous baby pink, its quite abit brighter than it is in these pictures but you get the drift! The formula is creamy and thick, like most Barry M nailvarnishes, and it takes a while for a layer to dry, but its worth the wait for the cute colour!
Whats you're favourite nail varnish colour? Have you tried any of Stargazers make-up before?
Tonight, I’m in a lipglossy kinda mood, so I decided to dig out some of my glosses to swatch for you! I have four of the Body Shop’s Hi-shine lip-glosses, one full size and three minis! 01 – Pink Cream (sunlight) (flash) This is one of my two favourite of the Hi-Shines. Its a gorgeous pale nude brown in the tube, but applies as a clear almost nude lip-gloss. 11 – Juicy Peach (flash)(sunlight) My second favourite, Juicy Peach! A gorgeous peachy pink in the tube, which sparkles pink and coral on the lip! The gloss itself is pretty clear, but the pink sparkles look adorable and suit any complexion! 10 - Perfectly Pink (flash) (sunlight) I have never actually worn this out before, as I don’t usually tend to wear dark pink/purple on my lips, but looking at these pictures, I’ve fallen in love! This is probably the most pigmented out of all the Hi-Shines, it comes out as a purple/mauve pink, which sparkles like crazy under light, as you can see in the first picture. ??? Now, I have no idea which shade this is by looking on TBS’s website, and as it doesn’t say the number of the shade on the mini I have, I really have no idea! But I will name a few guesses which the name could be below This is the colour in the package, just so you know. (flash) (sunlight) Okay, so I think this could be either 02 Mauve Dream or 03 Bronze Beam. I will check the next time I go to TBS and update this blog when I find out, or if any one else knows, then let me know! This again is a beautifully glittery shade, but with more pigmentation, and colour than the first. It has the same purple pink sparkles but the base is more coloured red than being clear. Conclusion – If you have ever tried a Hi-Shine Lip Treatment, you will know that they are super moisturizing, yet super sticky! I wouldn’t wear these on a windy winter day, instead I’d save them for the summer when I know my hair won’t catch in the gloss. As they are so sticky, they literally cover your lips in the most silky-smooth-feeling layer of gloss, which feels pretty incredible when you pucker your lips! The colours are very pretty, and although they look very glittery, they haven’t got any chunky glittery chunks in, at all, they are all smooth and the glitter just sparkles, instead of sits on your lips, which is a bonus (it basically doesn’t feel cheap). The smell of the gloss’s are very nice, quite fruity – maybe passion fruit? The tubes are real handy to use and carry around and easy to apply from the tube. The glosses have also never leaked in my bag, which is a plus as I know a few glosses have that tendency! They retail at £9.50 for a full size 6ml tube which will last you forever as you don’t need a lot to get the gorgeously glossy look. What’s your favourite glossy tube shade? Has anyone used them before? P.S – I bought all of these hi-shines with my own money. All opinions are honest!
This is my favourite eye shadow palette that I own, and I own a few! I first came across this gorgeous bunch of colours, when in work one day I served a woman who had the most beautiful brown, gold smoky eyes, that I’ve ever seen before. I was stunned by how amazing her blue eyes looked with all the shimmering gold tones, so obviously I asked her what she was wearing, and she said it was a really cheap brand in Superdrug called something like Sleek. Straight after work I went out and picked this palette up and its been my favourite since. I will give you some swatches of the palette, not that you probably haven't seen millions of them before! As you can probably tell from the images, # 1, 2, 4 & 7 are my all time favourite. All together they create a stunning shimmery brown eye. I much prefer shimmery eye shadows to matt, not sure why, I think they just are more stunning. 2 is the perfect base colour and brow bone highlighter. I would ADORE for Sleek to make a few of these colours in their own compacts so I could carry the ones I’m wearing around individually, instead of carrying the whole palette as I’m scared I’ll drop it and it’ll brake! #12 is the blackest black eye shadow I have ever come across, seriously, you need the tiniest amount to get so much black. #10 is the one that I find drops onto my cheeks the most when applying, its the most fall-out-y, but it is a very nice dark blue shade. I haven't used #5 & #6 much as I don’t think pinks suit me, but after swatching them I’m reminded to start wearing them more as they are super shimmery and attractive. I also like #8 & #9 to add some colour into my black smoky eyes. One reason I love these eye shadows, is that they are SO pigmented, you only need the tiniest amount to get the most gorgeous colours. One of my pet peeves are shadows which look gorgeous, but are only achievable with lashings and coats of the product, well, this product serves me well in the pigmentation department. I do think that Sleek should name each eye colour individually as well, just to make it easier when talking about each colour! For £4.99, I assure you that this is one of the most best priced, good quality eye shadows sets you could ever get your hands on! I also have the Original palette, which I will pop swatches up off within the next few weeks! Who else adores Sleek? Would any one like to see any looks which I create with this palette? XX X
Evening all!! I’ve seen lately that the Boots Original Beauty Formula range is doing the rounds on the beauty blogs, so I thought I’d review a few of the bits I have. I have practically everything in the range, the cleanser, rose toner, cold cream cleanser and the vanishing day cream. I have only yet tried the cleanser and toner however, so I’ll review the cleanser today! I first saw this range on one of my favourite beauty blogs – The Gloss Goss, and fell for the lovely natural ingredients and cute vintage packaging. So I picked some up when Boots had the 3 for 2 skincare offer. I have been using this for a few weeks to take my eye make-up off and it does a lovely job. It has a milky creamy consistency, which, when applied to a cotton pad and placed on the eye, removes a lot of my everyday eye make-up. I do wear a lot of eye make-up daily, and I normally need to use up a few cotton pads for each eye to remove every trace of make-up. The smell is gorgeous, a sweet rose smell which I adore. It has 19 ingredients, mostly preservatives and natural ingredients such as Olive fruit oil, Cocoa seed butter, and a few flower oils. Saying this, it doesn’t leave my skin oily or tacky at all, instead my skin feels rather fresh and moisturized. One thing I really dislike about this, is the fact that I can never get any product out of the bottle, so I have to shake it and then loaddsssss of it comes out on to my cotton pad! It is seriously messy (or I’m just extremely clumsy!), and I end up with it everywhere. It would be so much easier if it had a pump, or if the bottle was able to be squeezed, although I know this would affect the aesthetic-ness of the vintage bottle. Because of this, I do get some product in my eye, it doesn’t sting but it goes cloudy, obviously, which disappears once you rinse it off. Would I buy this again – Probably, yes! I can’t help but feel like an elegant Victorian lady in her boudoir when I use this, or see it on my dresser. It does a good job of removing make-up and it smells really nice. The whole Boots Original range is very affordable, this was about £3.99! I will update soon with what I think of the other products in the range! Has any one used this before? What did you think? Do you like the vintage packaging? XXX
This evening I am reviewing The Body Shop’s new mascara – Big and Curvy! It came out around two weeks ago and should be permanent in their collection. The packaging is GORGEOUS. I adore the bright vibrant pink tube – it makes it very easy to find in the depths of my make-up bag, TBS are really going to town with their new colours and packaging recently. The wand is thin, long and quite bristly, allowing you to coat every lash with just one swipe of the product. BEFORE - ONE COAT - I find that all Body Shop mascaras give me wonderfully long lashes. This one really lengthens and separates them as well as giving my normally invisible lashes, some brilliant volume and intensity. One coat really is enough for beautifully long, striking lashes. TWO COATS - Two coats obviously adds more length and volume to the lashes and makes the look more dramatic, which is great for transforming your look from day to evening. It can verge on clumpy (which I find with every mascara I use – maybe I don’t apply it right?) if you pop too much on. The colour of the black also intensifies with another coat. Conclusion – This mascara is suitable for contact lens wearers (as are the other TBS mascaras) but the amazing thing about this one is – it does not budge! This isn’t claimed to be a ‘waterproof’ mascara, but seriously, once you apply this, it will not smudge, bleed or flake ALL DAY LONG. I can’t stress enough how tough this is, which is again why it would be great from day to evening wear. The only slight problem with this is, it is a pain to remove at the end of the day. I normally have to use a few pads of make-up remover and a wet wipe to completely remove every trace of this. I haven't yet tried using a waterproof eye-make-up remover yet though so that may possibly work better. This can be found for £10 at all Body Shop stores, so if you like the look of it, check it out! Also, TBS has a 3 for 2 offer on makeup, so you could pick it up with a few other bits if you needed too!! What do you girlies think? I adore the packaging and the look it gives, do you? P.S – This product was given to me free of charge as a TBS customer consultant, but it was not intended for to be reviewed. All opinions are honest and reliable! X
I had a haircut!! Arrggghhhhhh! I am so so scared of hairdressers, just because I always seem to blow so much money on a cut and style that I didn’t even ask for, its just never how I want it to end up. However, last week I went with my friend to Rush at Lakeside, to watch her have a hair transformation; she decided to try out red hair (from brunette) and to have a trim. She looked gorgeous at the end, the hairdresser did the best job and I was jealous, her hair looked healthy, with a gorgeous cut and colour! So I booked my own last week. I haven't had a hair cut in a year and my hair (before the cut) it was pretty much all the same length. I loved it like this as I could plait it and no random hairs would fall out, and because it was all one length, it was pretty obvious that I wasn’t wearing extensions as I think people assume that most girls with platinum blonde hair do wear falsies. BUT, as I had no layers, my hair was completely flat and lacked volume and style, I did need a change. So these are my before and after pictures - The Experience – Everyone in the store was lovely, very friendly. The woman at the desk sat me down with some magazines, took my coat and offered me tea etc whilst my hairdresser was finishing off her last client. I wasn’t waiting long when my hairdresser sat with me and we discussed what I wanted. I asked for ‘More volume, I want some short layers so I can give my hair more style, I want to keep the length, but I don’t mind a small trim’. She was lovely and told me exactly what she was going to do with my hair; Wash it with some kerastase products to ensure its really conditioned, then whilst its wet she was going to trim the ends and add a few random layers all over, then she was going to dry my hair and cut a few shorter layers in. The wash was lovely and relaxing, I think I had a work experience girl doing it though, but she knew what she was doing and did it well. Then back in my seat, my hair was combed through… which was pretty agonizing and painful… My hair is dry, yes, but I can comb it through fine at home. The brush and comb got full of my hair very quickly, which ended up in it making more knots in my hair, yet she didn’t empty the brush out… which I thought was odd. Another thing which annoyed me was, she blow dried my fringe into a centre parting, when I told her I wanted to keep the side parting… so at the end when she styled my hair, it obviously kept falling back into a centre parting, which was very annoying and didn’t need to be like that. Over all I think I spent about an hour and fifteen minutes in the salon. To be honest I wasn’t very happy with the end result, I always feel too shy to say anything like ‘can I have it shorter, can you change this please’, so I just kept quiet, which is probably always my downfall. In the second image above you can see how long the ‘shortest’ layer is… Not short at all, which I was quite disappointed with cause it hardly volumizes my hair, I wanted a lot shorter than that. Also, quite a lot of length was taken off my ends which I wasn’t too happy about, along with the fact that its cut in a dead straight line, I’m more of a messy hair chick, not a dead straight line chick, if you get me! I paid for everything myself, although I had a 50% off voucher from the friend who had her hair done before me (Recommend a Friend scheme). So I ended up paying £22 for the cut, which without the discount would have been £44, which is extortionate. I’ve gotten used to the change now, and I do like it, it definitely needed some change and shape, which it now has. I’ve since washed my hair, and to be honest it kind of does look exactly the same as it did before, no one has noticed the change, which, paying £22 for, I would want people to notice. Conclusion – The staff were lovely, the salon itself was nice and clean and well laid out, but it is a bit over priced and I didn’t get exactly what I asked for, even though I made it clear at the beginning. I enjoyed my experience there, although I wouldn’t go back unless I had another voucher.

Goal: Stop eating things after dinner just because I still have calories left on MFP. If I’m not hungry, don’t eat!
This is easy enough to say, but let’s see if I can accomplish it all week. For some reason, when I see that I have calories left in the day, I automatically assume that I must still be hungry. I need to remember that it’s okay to stop eating when I am full even if I’m under calories.
seeing real live people’s progress and struggles with fitness and healthy eating. It’s so much more real to me to be able to read about someone’s journey than simply seeing a before/after.
Lifestyle changes are not easy, and I know I’ll make mistakes, hit plateaus, and get frustrated…but with the support and encouragement of this community, I will reach my goals.
Keep up the good work, everyone!

Whatever that Insanity calendar dishes out at me for the day.
And I just looked at the calendar for the first time to see what I’m doing today and had my heart skipped. This week is RECOVERY WEEK!!!! I do Core Cardio and Balance every day for 6 days. Not exactly sure what that workout entails, but at least I’m not going to kill myself with Pure Cardio or Cardio Power and Resistance! WOOOO!!
Off to do some Insanity!
Hey S1C (Square One Challenge) Posters,
I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is I am back and going to start posting and updating this week. Bad news is, I’m still at Square One. My neck, shoulder and back got messed up again putting me on the side line. I just woke up last week and it was all messed up. I’m really paying the price for this injury last October and it’s starting to frustrate me. I did have a realization this weekend that I am just not ready for P90X. It is putting to much strain on my physically and mentally. When I do P90X I remember where I was before my injury, what I could do, and now that I am back to the beginning and I keep straining an old injury it is frustrating to me so I’m switching to a program that I know works, that doesn’t put excessive strain on my neck, back or shoulder, but I have yet to complete. That program is RevAbs.
I have started it about 3 times and every time I get to day 30 I catch the P90X bug, doubt WHY am I doing RevAbs when I should be doing P90X, I make the switch then a few weeks later, I’m sidelined. My goal is to complete a full 90 days of RevAbs starting today. I’m going to post a video today about this too. Thanks for being there for me and thank you Jillian for texting me this weekend and calling me out. I appreciate the support. Talk to you all soon,
Joey
I lost 4.9 pounds this week.
4.9!
SW: 247.6
PW: 219.4
CW: 214.5
I wish I knew exactly what made the difference this week. I’ve actually been a little bit looser with my calories- going over by 100 or so some days. But, I’ve also been trying out different kinds of exercise. I did a ton of dancing this week, and I’ve been adding in short workouts during the day when I have a spare 10 minutes or so. Whatever it is, I hope to keep it up (sans the crying during workouts. That’s not fun)!
Green Tea: It also helps in weight loss by preventing bloating.
Dairy Products: Just choose the low-fat variant though.
Oatmeal: The high fiber and low-fat oatmeal is a good choice.
Hot Peppers: The capsaicin chemical found in chili is known to give metabolism quite a kick.
Protein: When going for protein, lean turkey meat and chicken breast are fine choices.
Broccoli: The broccoli is a great choice with its 20-calorie per cup rating. Also, it is rich in calcium which has been linked by numerous studies to weight loss. It is also rich in vitamin C which aids better calcium absorption.
Grapefruit: Chemicals found in grapefruit actually helps lower insulin levels which are helpful in facilitating weight loss.
Mangosteen: This fruit is known to improve the function of the excretory system and thus rid the body of toxins.
Coffee: Drinking about two cups of coffee everyday can jumpstart your metabolism. Any more than three cups though is not advisable.
do i wake up at 6 and go.
it opens at 7am and i like being early as possible because then there won’t be people there (the odd one maybe) and im really really self concious

I first decided to lose weight years ago.
And I tried. I’d start working out, and eating smaller portions. But I’d always end up going all out, then taking a day off. A day would turn into 2, then a week, and before I knew it a few months would have passed, and I wouldn’t have had a single workout.
Then last year something just clicked. I did what I could, and didn’t feel guilty when I had to take breaks. If I needed a day off, I’d make sure I took one, then start right back up the next day. And eventually I just learned to love working out. And now I’ve reached a level of fitness that I will not give up. I want to keep getting better. I’ve worked way too hard to let all I’ve achieved slip away.
I’ve also learned so much about how the food I eat affects everything from my skin, to my workout intensity, to how I feel throughout the day that I could never go back to just eating junk.
I’ve gone off on a bit of a tangent here, haven’t I? lol All in all, I’ve been trying for years to lose weight, but I didn’t succeed at it until about the last year and a half or so. And now there is no going back. :)
I have two new favourite nail colours which I have both purchased in the last month… I guess I should really put these in my ‘March Favourites’, but I’ll do a separate post for that! Firstly we have Barry M – 305 Pink Flamingo I ADORE this colour, I do admit I have too many pink nail varnishes, but this is my new favourite. It is a bright pink but with a peachy undertone (I think), which I am obsessed with at the moment. It’s darker than the Barry M baby pink swatched here, and I love wearing this shade. I picked this up in Boots where it was part of a ‘Buy two Barry M nail varnishes for £5’ - (There is now a 3 for 2 offer on Barry M items – so go check it out!). ( I will swatch the other colour I bought in this deal soon!) I applied three coats of this shade and it started chipping within two days. Secondly, we have No7 Speed Dry Nail Colour – Coral Kiss 39 – I bought this with the Boots £5 off No7 voucher, so this only cost me £1.25. At first I just bought this as it was a bargin and I didn’t want to waste the voucher – But I am SO glad I did pick this up. It is my perfect red! I am wearing it right now and I feel ‘adult?’ aha, and sophisticated wearing this. Again, it is more of an orangey red which I love. This also does dry relatively quickly which I was impressed at. I applied this three days ago and only the tips of my nails have started chipping, so it has good lasting power! Also, I only needed two coats of this polish, as it is very pigmented, which saves time and product! What did you guys purchase with your Boots £5 off No7 & Ruby Millie vouchers? Has anyone tried these shades before?XX
I’ll start off by saying, although I haven’t yet found my HG mascara, this is one of my favourites – I’m currently on my third tube of this! I think I generally prefer mascaras with a comb like wand, as it helps me comb through my unruly yet invisible lashes. I’ll show you the pictures and then tell you what I like/dislike about it. No Mascara - One Coat - Its pretty obvious why I love this mascara, as using just one coat I get the most gorgeous, long, defined lashes that I could possibly achieve. The colour is a perfect black, my lashes aren't clumpy, or spider like; the comb helps to reach every single lash and separate them. One coat of this is usually enough for me – I’m not really a mascara girl to be honest – I used to always forget to put it on in the mornings before school, but I do rely on it to make my lashes look long and neat when using lots of eyeshadows. Two Coats - Firstly, don’t be put off with how clumpy they do look in these images – I will admit that I am due to buy a new one of these as the formula has become dry, making it looks extra clumpy. So with two coats, you obviously get a more intense long lash effect. If the tube was new, the second coat normally helps to comb through the lashes, but just adds an extra coating to volumize more. Conclusion – As I said at the beginning, this is one of my favourite mascaras. I love how I can create long, defined lashes with just one coat of this stuff, I would recommend it to people who prefer comb–shaped mascara wands as its the best I’ve tried. The packaging is pretty normal – a dark green tube with a silver top, making it nice and sleek to carry around with you. This retails at £9.50 at all Body Shop stores. Does anyone else use this mascara? Are you impressed with the results of one coat? X
This is my first ‘favourites’ post, and I’ve enjoyed looking back over the month and picking out what I have really enjoyed using and what may be new to my collection. Here they are! We have - Aussie Luscious Long Leave in Conditioner – I dread washing my hair because it takes so long to comb through and brush after, but with this stuff it takes half the time. I just spritz it onto the ‘matted’ knot in my hair and after a few combs the know has disappeared. I’ve also been using an Aussie Conditioner with this, and when I use them both together my hair is a lot easier to handle. Clinique Instant Lift for Brows – I won this from a Beauty Junkie in London. She was sent it by Clinique to review but her eyebrows were too light to use this as its the darkest shade, so she gave it away to another beauty blogger with dark eyebrows and I was very lucky to win it! I will be sending her a review of this product to post on her blog by the end of the week so you’ll here about what I fully think of this product when that is posted. But I’ll just say its very easy to use, and it is the perfect colour for my dark eyebrows! The Body Shop Shimmer cubes #19 – You can tell just by looking back at the posts in my blog that I adore this eye shadow set, the colours are beautiful, they are a nice pigmented consistency and you can use them in so many ways – I defy someone to not love these! Lipstick #57 – I have been wearing this a lot since I got a lot of good feedback from it on the swatch post I did - Link Here! I think it really suits my big lips and blonde hair and the colour is just gorgeous. It lasts really well, I apply it once every 3 hours when I wear it and always get compliments when I wear it! Blush #12 Apricot Shimmer – This is my favouritteeeeeee blusher EVER! And I can’t believe I’ve only just started using it! As you may have read, I am obsessed at the moment with coral and orange shades of make-up and ever since I bought this, I have been using it every day. It is a perfect orangey-apricot-y shimmery blush. It is very pigmented and you get the colour you see in the pan in a few sweeps on the cheek. I will do a swatch of this soon so you can all see how beautiful it is. No7 Speed Dry Nail Colour #39 Coral Kiss – Read my post below Here to see why I love this Colour! MAC Pigment sample Softwash grey – I bought a sample of Softwash Grey, along with a few others, from Caroline’s Beauty Blog, and this is my favourite. It is a perfect shimmery grey/silver for when I do my smokey looks. I especially like using this along with MAC’s Nylon, in the inner corner of my eye! Barry M Flamingo Pink #305 Nail Varnish (Not Pictured) – I haven’t got this on hand to photograph but you can see the pictures and why I love it in This Post! Hope you enjoyed this post, I enjoyed doing it!! What is everyone else’s last months favs? P.S I purchased all of these products with my own money apart from the Clinique eyebrow pencil which I won in a competition, and the TBS blush – which I was given as it was an old tester in my store. All of my opinions are honest and I was not paid for these reviews!
I’ve been buying Barry M Dazzle Dust pigments since I was 17 and used to be addicted to them. I’d never before seen such a wide variety of colours and such good quality products for reasonable prices. I decided today to swatch the ones I have for you and tell you what I like about them etc. Top Row – L-R64 (Fushcia), 74 (Purple), 34 (Cherry) Bottom Row – L-R29 (Yellow Gold), 44 (Bronze), 3 (Pink Gold) 64 – A vibrant pink, very bright, have only used this doing make-up for a theatre production. 74 – A nice deep redish purple, very charming, but again, would not wear this out unless blended smoothly with a black. Could wear this as an eyeliner though? 34 – I actually have two of this colour, and I have no idea why as I’m not too keen on it, it kinda looks like a bruised eye colour? Its a dark purple with blue speckles. 29 – A bright yellow, good for dramatic smoky brown eyes. 44 – The perfect bronze shade in my opinion. This is definitely one of the more wearable ones from my collection. I’m making a mental note to wear this shade more! 3 – The most adorable pink which shimmers gold in the light. So girly! Top Row L-R – 14 (Khaki), 13 (Pale Green), 92 (Aqua Gold), 69 (Saphire) Bottom Row L-R - (GLITTER DUST)15 (Gold Iridescent), 4, 10 (Silver) (DAZZLE DUST)(Grey), 11 (Charcoal) 14 – This is a moody green pigment, very emerald and attractive. 13 – A cute pale green, very easy to blend. 92 – I’ve never worn this, again, it was for a theatre production of A Midsummer Nights Dream. 69 – Ugh, this colour is so gorgeous!! Its a blue which turns purple depending on the angle you look at it, its so pretty. 15 – A gorgeous shimmer which sparkles gold in different lights, I adore this colour and use it as a base on my eyelids, all the way up to the brow bone for definition on nights out. You could also use this as a cheek highlighter possibly? I will swatch it next to MAC’s vanilla pigment soon for comparison. 4 – A silver glitter dust, which in my opinion is toooo glittery. Literally chunks of glitter where everywhere after I used this. Its so pretty though, use for special occasions? 10 – Another one of my favourites, a gorgeous silvery grey, great for smoky looks. I like blending this over 15, with a touch of 11 on the edge for the perfect glamorous look. 11 – A dark dark black with a hint of white glitter shimmer, although not glittery at all and nice and easy to blend. Although it is very pigmented so you only need the tiniest amount! Conclusion! - I only wear about three of these shades when going out at the most. Barry M are famous for having the loveliest colour collection and I’m so grateful that we have this choice on the high street, but obviously not all these shades are wearable on a day to day basis, but its good to have the choice. Slowly, make-up brands have been catching up with Barry M and creating new pigment shades (Gosh, for example), however Barry M’s cute packaging, originality and good pricing will always make them my favourite high street make-up brand. I have a few of their lipsticks which I will be swatching for you all soon! XXX P.S I was recently VERY lucky to win a competition by http://www.beautyjunkielondon.com/ to review clinques instant lift for brows – pencil. She wanted someone with dark eyebrows and a make-up blog to review it as her eyebrows are quite pale and I won through random generator! Once I get the product I will mail her the review and you will be able to see it on her site! Thanks Beauty Junkie!! XX P.P.S – All the photographs are my own, please include a link to my blog if you are to use them anywhere else, and send me a link to where you’ve posted it. I bought all these products with my own money.
I currently only own two Barry M lipsticks and I love them both so much! Here they are on my lips - 147 - This is one of my favourite lipsticks, its so beautiful. Its a gorgeous light peachy pinky coral and its just stunning, I haven't seen a lipstick like this colour and the pigmentation is great. It can make your teeth look yellow if you put too much on though! 52 - 52 is a brave neon purplish pink, which has been quite fashionable the past year. There was a week not long ago where I wore this everyday, I just love it. It is daring and you need to be confident to pull it off. I didn’t realise quite how bright and purple is was until I took pictures of this! Conclusion - Barry M have the most beautiful and daring colour collections which is great for those wanting to be different. The packaging is black and sleek (I’m sure you’ve all seen it!). The only thing about these lipsticks is that they are quite drying. They aren't really moisturizing at all, I always need to apply alot of lip balm before and after I use this, but this definitely wouldn’t put me off wearing them! I hope everyone's having a lovely weekend! XX Small note – All pictures included are mine, please ask me if you want to use them on your blogs/website and put a link back to my blog.
