Andres Sarda - Spring 2010

images via Andres Sarda, copyright 2010

Spanish lingerie brand Andres Sarda is really impressing us; last season you saw our post on their beautiful collection here (and here & here on the runway) and now we are presented with these images! Not only have they done a beautiful job designing the Spring 2010 collection, but the photographs are equally stunning.
Actually, the designs appear a bit more contemporary than we recall Andres Sarda being. We think of the brand as being very traditional, but with the sheer black skirt (that reminds us of Made by Niki's suspender skirt) and the sheer white corset & blouse that we are seeing now, the look is quite fresh and modern. If we find some runway images of this group we will share those as well.

These are the images from the Spring 2010 collection by Ritratti. Ritratti is an Italian luxury lingerie label known for its classic shapes, and it seems every season they unveil a killer sexy bodysuit (see top image). The images above reveal a collection that is sensual and feminine, with some beautiful lace details.
The Ritratti brand features 4 distinct lines from everyday lingerie to swimwear. You can see much more from the label here.

John Paul Gaultier Runway

We love the lingerie-as-outerwear trend we're seeing these days, and we were especially drawn to the details of John Paul Gaultier's Spring 2010 collection. As you can see, Gaultier was responsible for the Madonna cone bra that was inescapable in the 90s. Somehow now that we see it in a runway setting it looks more sophisticated and high-fashion. The sheer blouse layered over the statement bra is definitely a look that can be pulled off in 'real life'.
